About Mrs Ackroyd

Mrs Ackroyd is delighted to be teaching English Sets and is passionate about helping children develop a lifelong love of reading and writing. One of her favourite books is Mary Poppins, and she enjoys sharing the magic of stories to inspire imagination and creativity in the classroom.

Outside of school, Mrs Ackroyd enjoys listening to music, colouring, keeping everything neat and tidy, and taking peaceful walks along the beach at sunset. Her favourite place to visit is the beautiful Cotswolds, and she loves the freshness of spring, when colourful flowers bloom and birds begin to sing.

A fun fact about Mrs Ackroyd is that she is a huge Mary Poppins fan! She knows every word to the film, has seen the musical, and can even say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" backwards!
