About Miss Harris
Miss Harris is delighted to be teaching in our Just Twos provision and is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their learning journey. She believes that developing a love of books and storytelling from an early age is key to supporting children's language, communication, imagination, and confidence. Reading is a special part of every day in her classroom, and she especially enjoys sharing Julia Donaldson's stories with the children. Outside of school, Miss Harris loves reading, trying new recipes, getting creative with crafts, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She enjoys exploring new places and has wonderful memories of visiting Canada, where she loved the stunning scenery and wildlife. With a cheerful and positive outlook, it's no surprise that her favourite colour is yellow! She also enjoys discovering different cuisines and making special memories with her daughter throughout every season of the year. An interesting fact about Miss Harris is that she once worked as a nanny for a family who appeared on television – an experience she will never forget!

At Ash Green, we value our curriculum and want to keep you informed about your child’s learning. Each half term, we will upload a newsletter explaining what your child will be learning in every subject. These newsletters will also include important dates, events, and exciting activities to look forward to.
