About Mrs Thompson

Mrs Thompson is delighted to be teaching Reception and loves helping children begin their exciting learning journey. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and creative classroom where every child feels happy, confident, and inspired to learn.

She is a huge fan of Julia Donaldson books, especially 'Stick Man', and enjoys sharing stories and encouraging a love of reading. Outside of school, she loves spending time with her husband and two sons, Cooper and Parker, as well as being creative with decorating and crafts.

Mrs Thompson's favourite season is autumn, when she enjoys cosy evenings, crunchy leaf walks, pumpkins, and hot chocolate. She also loves pizza (especially with plenty of cheese!), dreams of returning to Disneyland Paris, and is a devoted McFly fan, having seen them perform live more than 20 times!

Mrs Thompson is excited to welcome her new Reception class and looks forward to making their first year at school full of fun, learning, and wonderful memories.

Knowledge Organisers & Newsletters

At Ash Green, we value our curriculum and want to keep you informed about your child’s learning. Each half term, we will upload a newsletter explaining what your child will be learning in every subject. These newsletters will also include important dates, events, and exciting activities to look forward to.

The newsletters are a great way for you to talk with your child about their learning and support them with extra activities at home. Don’t forget to check Class Dojo for homework rewards and incentives too!
