Year 6 Lower
Mrs Knott
About Mrs Knott
Mrs Knott is delighted to be teaching Year 6 and is passionate about helping children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity as they prepare for the next stage of their learning.
Outside of school, she loves spending time with her little family, especially her daughter, Winnie. They enjoy walks along the canal, trips to the zoo and splashing in muddy puddles together. Mrs Knott also plays netball, enjoys watching musicals at the theatre and is currently learning to crochet – with the goal of making a cardigan for her daughter!
Mrs Knott loves reading The Dress in the Window by Robert Tregoning and dreams of returning to America, where she travelled for six weeks and visited amazing places including Niagara Falls, Las Vegas and San Francisco. Her favourite season is spring, she loves chicken curry with naan bread, and an interesting fact about her is that her very first pet was a three-legged hamster!

Knowledge Organisers & Newsletters
At Ash Green, we value our curriculum and want to keep you informed about your child’s learning. Each half term, we will upload a newsletter explaining what your child will be learning in every subject. These newsletters will also include important dates, events, and exciting activities to look forward to.
The newsletters are a great way for you to talk with your child about their learning and support them with extra activities at home. Don’t forget to check Class Dojo for homework rewards and incentives too!
You can also find our Knowledge Organisers for each unit in the Autumn, Spring, and Summer by clicking the images below.
